We have begun writing up an initial walkthrough for configuring your system following the new installation instructions guide. So far we have covered monitor setup and wireless network configuration (WEP only). We will keep updating the setup page as new solutions come up. Your comments and contributions are most welcome.

Just one question about video mode … My monitor is a samsung 226bw (wide) with max resolution of 1680×1050 … When I use 720p, I got a 1280×720 …
And I’d like a bigger resolution (1680×1050) … Do you think it’s possible ? (I’ll try 1080p and it blinks and my monitor says use 1680×1050 60Hz instead of 1920×1080) Any Idea ?

Seeing as the new installation instructions recommend installing Xubuntu and not using Gnome surely the instructions for setting up video mode should be written with regards to Xfe as well as Gnome?

In the something went wrong section the correct kroot instruction is: ps3-boot-game-os
You need to change this.
