Fix overscan and black borders
A solution has been found to the problem with black margins and monitor overscan that many PSUbuntu users experience. Using a tool called fbset you will be able to decrease the framebuffer from its current mode, tweaking your monitor to give a full view of the screen.
Note that you must be using an updated kernel (2.6.24) for fbset to work.
The PSUbuntu developers are hoping to find a way to include this at install time.
See SwiftBiscuits forum post for instructions.

Haha my tv has a feature that it just fixes the overscan by itself, if u have overscan look at ur tv seetings, and at the aspect raito(where it askes for like 4.9 and 6.9 or whatever, look for the option “just scan” and it will fix the overscan and their u go
