We have set up a new forum to help organize posts and prevent the spam issues we had with the previous one. Unfortunately we couldn’t find a way to convert the current posts to the new forum, so we have to start from scratch.

The good side of this is that it makes it easier to restructure the rooms and give us more specific forum topics. We will also avoid confusion with old threads, tutorials and discussions meant for old releases.

The previous forum will still be open for a while, but eventually posting there will be disabled. It will still be accessible and searchable, but all current discussions should be merged to the new forums.

With the increased activity on the psubuntu forums, the main board has recently become quite chaotic, with new unanswered posts often going through without replies. So today we have launched four new forums and will soon be moving some older topics to their respective new rooms (no currently active threads will be moved).

The new forums are:

• Installation issues - Problems and bugs in the PSUbuntu installation process.
• Audio & video - Audiovisual issues. Codecs and media players.
• Network & connectivity - Wireless, bluetooth, controllers, mice and keyboard issues.
• Applications & games - Tips and suggestions on installing and setting up apps and games in PSUbuntu.

Today we are introducing a new feature to the site. Welcome to our new PSUbuntu Forums! A place to talk about your experiences running Ubuntu on the PS3 or ask related questions.

The main forum will be the PSUbuntu forum, for discussions related to running Ubuntu on the Playstation 3. There is also one for a PS3 discussion and one for discussing the Ubuntu Linux distribution in general.
