Currently Hardy Heron installation CDs are broken (as of March 19, 2008).

Here is what is known:

• There is no longer a 'cell' kernel, it has been merged into powerpc64-smp (Launchpad Bug #194971∞). This breaks upgrades until a proper linux-image-cell meta-package is created.
• The Hardy Heron release for the PS3 will probably be contained on the same CD image as the powerpc version.
• The otheros.bld on the CD isn't capable of loading the powerpc64-smp kernel. Some people have had success using the petitboot otheros.bld (Launchpad Bug #197728∞).
• Generating locales can take around 17 minutes per language (Launchpad Bug #197728∞).
