However I have just tested Alternate Install Disc and it has worked flawlessly for me. It's highly suggested to download via torrent for few days after release date as server can be quite busy.

- No ext4 filesystem support for kboot, so you can't boot into your fresh install if you select it. Created following report when noticed this little caveat https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ps3-port/+bug/365809∞
- As mentioned above, it's likely that any of current Desktop install images work, please use Alternate install disc images
- swapon -s states that vram swap isn't actually enabled by default. However here's PSUbuntuGPU wikipage that should do the trick
Additions:
- Sound through optical workd out-of-box

Additions:

Where to download?

Problems and things that doesn't work out-of-box noted
What works better than in 8.10?
- Wireless WPA networking works out-of-box
- No actual proofs, but system feels to load much faster than 8.10 and seems to be bit lighter to run after default Gnome install
-
Just a brief blunt start for this page, please edit as you wish and please by all means add information from forum to here.
