OS Hardware Support
Ubuntu running on the PS3 must support the PS3's unique implentations of various kinds of hardware. Like in any OS, driver support lets software interact with the hardware. Some diagnostic, test and calibration applications can troubleshoot hardware problems. And other applications make full use of the hardware's features.

BD Remote
The BD Remote is a TV-style remote control connecting to the PS3 by Bluetooth pairing.
The
PlayStation Eye is a lorez webcam type camera connecting to the PS3 by USB.
PlayTV is a DVB-T decoder connecting to the PS3 by USB.
Other Hardware
This list of hardware includes hardware that doesn't work directly with a PS3 as its host "PC", but still interoperates with a PS3. That includes other PCs on a network, perhaps being used as DLNA media servers, or cablemodems/routers, or other "standalone" devices that connect with the PS3 over other interfaces, whether Bluetooth, ethernet, or otherwise. It needs to be completed.
